A GIFT: Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ
At the heart of The Church’s primary purpose for existing is the privilege of sharing with others the message of Jesus Christ’s offer of salvation.  Therefore, it only makes sense that it too is a primary purpose for Cibolo Creek Community Church if we hope to be a reflection of the church Jesus envisioned.  The Gospel of Jesus Christ is an amazing offer.  It is unfathomable to think Christ-followers would keep this free gift all to themselves.  Jesus and his offer of salvation were to be shared with anybody and everybody. Cibolo Creek is trying to figure out the most effective ways to share the gift of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible.

John 3:16

For God so loves the world that he gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 6:23
The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Ephesians 2:8-9
It is by grace you are saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works so that no one would boast.

Cibolo Creek’s Front Door
Cibolo Creek’s Sunday morning services are the front door of our church for our community.  In America, if people are going to choose to visit a church, they are most likely going to do that on a Sunday morning.  Therefore, we seek to design our Sunday services to be of use to everybody who comes through our doors regardless of where they may be on their spiritual journey.  Because we are aware that spiritual explorers attend our church (19% to be exact), we intentionally work to include them in the conversation of our services.  From musical styles to the language used during a message, from snacks in the lobby to graphics on video-screens, all of it is viewed through the eyes and ears of those guests who may be new and incredibly suspicious of everything we may do as a church.  We work to make them feel warmly welcomed to our church.

Everyday Evangelism?
Since the day Christ announced the start of His Church, the primary means by which it would grow would be the courageous and tenacious witness of His disciples.  Twenty centuries later, it still works the same way.  If Cibolo Creek Community Church is to accomplish its primary role in the world, followers of Jesus Christ will have to share their faith with those whom they rub shoulders with every day.  Prayerfully and politely, Jesus’ disciples at Cibolo Creek ought to frequently share with others the offer of the amazing gift God has graciously extended through Jesus Christ.
